What you should know
PDF metadata is the hidden information stored inside every PDF file — title, author, subject, keywords, creator, and producer. You won't see it when reading the document, but anyone can extract it with a browser tool or command-line utility.
- View first, edit second — upload the PDF to see what's currently stored in its metadata before making changes.
- Only change what you need — leave blank any fields you want to keep unchanged; only filled fields are written back.
- Keywords use commas — separate multiple keywords with commas (English or Chinese). They get stored internally as an array.
- Metadata ≠ page content — editing metadata does not alter the visible text, images, or layout on any page.
